A recent survey shows over 70 percent of truck techs now use AI-powered diagnostics every week, proving the shift is already here. Modern trucks rely on sensors, connected systems, and smart alerts that demand sharper digital skills. Techs who blend mechanical experience with data confidence quickly gain an edge in fast-changing shops. In this article, […]
As commercial environments grow increasingly reliant on autonomous technology in core operations, the ability for robots to intelligently adapt is critical to scaling automation. Brain Corp, the real-world AI company, has announced the release of BrainOS Clean 2.0, a major new software update designed to elevate how Tennant Company robotic floor cleaners operate, adapt, and […]
Positronic Robotics launches ‘PhAIL’ benchmark to test real-world performance of physical AI systems
Positronic Robotics has introduced a new benchmarking initiative aimed at evaluating how well AI-driven robots perform in real-world industrial tasks, as interest grows in so-called “physical AI” systems. The benchmark, called PhAIL (Physical AI Leaderboard), measures robotic performance using operational metrics such as units per hour and mean time between failures, rather than traditional academic […]
As robotics adoption accelerates across manufacturing, logistics, and infrastructure, energy consumption is emerging as a critical constraint. What was once a secondary engineering consideration is becoming a primary design challenge – shaping how robots are built, deployed, and evaluated. At the same time, sustainability pressures are rising. ESG – environmental, social, and governance – has […]
Replacing your brakes is a vital part of vehicle maintenance, but costs vary based on vehicle type, driving habits, and worn components. Many drivers start researching prices after noticing squeaking, grinding, or reduced stopping power. Knowing what affects brake pricing helps you avoid surprises and make smarter decisions. If you’re comparing options for brake repair […]
Choosing the right project management tools can either make or break teams. Choosing among this number of options needs to be done wisely. Good tools assist in organizing tasks, maintaining clear communication, and tracking challenges and progress. Knowing what to look for helps teams make decisions that foster productivity and collaboration. Identify Team Needs Start […]
There’s a quiet shift happening in eCommerce. For a long time, brands were obsessed with getting new customers – bigger ad budgets, wider reach, more traffic. But lately, the smarter ones are asking a different question: How do we keep the customers we already have? Because the truth is, growth doesn’t really come from constant […]
The rapid rise of artificial intelligence tools has transformed how content is created, processed, and delivered. From automated writing assistants to multimodal generation systems, the capabilities of AI have expanded quickly over the past few years. But as many organizations are discovering, AI itself is no longer the primary constraint. The bigger challenge lies in […]
Autonomous systems are designed for repetition. They are good in the situations where patterns can be memorized, charted, and anticipated with a high level of certainty. However, real-world driving is filled with edge cases, which do not scale well to datasets. Even a sophisticated system can be thrown off by a plastic bag floating along […]
A number of individuals have spoken about robotics with respect to heavy equipment. However, they typically consider autonomous mining vehicles, warehouse management systems, and construction machines. The majority of these individuals overlook an extremely obvious shift that is taking place in truck mounted cranes. Crane trucks are becoming smart due to the advent of new […]
Robots make work faster, cleaner, and more consistent. They also change how risk shows up on the floor. The danger is not only the moving arm, but also the in-between moments, when a cell is paused, a jam is cleared, or a quick adjustment turns into hands inside the fence. Operators sit closest to these […]
Deepfake X-rays created by AI are now convincing enough to fool both doctors and AI models. In tests, radiologists had limited success identifying fake images, especially when they didn’t know they were being shown. This opens the door to risks like fraudulent medical claims and tampered diagnoses. Experts say stronger safeguards and detection tools are critical as the technology advances.
Neura Mobile Robots has presented an application for mobile manipulation in intralogistics for the first time at LogiMAT. Under its ek Robotics brand, Neura demonstrated how mobile transport robotics and cognitive robotics can be combined into a seamless system, enabling a new level of automation. At the heart of the application is the combination of […]
Picture this. You’re standing on an offshore oil platform, surrounded by the constant hum of machinery and the salty bite of sea air. Everywhere you look, there are pipes hissing with pressurized gas, tanks holding volatile chemicals, and automated systems running operations that would have required dozens of workers just a decade ago. It’s impressive, […]
Automation in law offices has shifted from a back-office convenience to a core part of how modern firms operate. What was once a profession defined by paper files and manual processes is now increasingly structured around systems – intake pipelines, workflow automation, and data tracking that bring speed and consistency to everyday operations. But the […]
Money usually goes away sooner than one anticipates. Some minor things, a lost subscription, and all of a sudden, the bank account shows that the balance is lower than intended. Several families go through this situation despite a stable income. Here, a personal budget application will come in handy. It may seem that it is […]
A new tomato-picking robot is learning to think before it acts. Instead of simply identifying ripe fruit, it predicts how easy each tomato will be to harvest and adjusts its approach accordingly. This smarter strategy boosted success rates to 81%, with the robot even switching angles when needed. The breakthrough could pave the way for farms where robots and humans work side by side.
As AI systems began acing traditional tests, researchers realized those benchmarks were no longer tough enough. In response, nearly 1,000 experts created Humanity’s Last Exam, a massive 2,500-question challenge covering highly specialized topics across many fields. The exam was engineered so that any question solvable by current AI models was removed. Early results show even the most advanced systems still struggle — revealing a surprisingly large gap between AI performance and true expert-level knowledge.
Choosing the right method for multimodal AI—systems that combine text, images, and more—has long been trial and error. Emory physicists created a unifying mathematical framework that shows many AI techniques rely on the same core idea: compress data while preserving what’s most predictive. Their “control knob” approach helps researchers design better algorithms, use less data, and avoid wasted computing power. The team believes it could pave the way for more accurate, efficient, and environmentally friendly AI.
